Business Leaders Demand for Climate Policies
Climate summits are not the words business leaders like to hear. Many business leaders are worried because of changing climate policies. World is already recovering from many financial difficulties and new policies might make it more difficult for the manufacturing units to remain profitable. If these policies are changed according to UN charter, many businesses will be on the line of extinction. Many well know manufacturers will need to spend millions of dollars to comply with new guidelines. These policies also can change the way exiting units operate. India, China and other developing nations fear that these policies will impact their growth. Business leaders are pushing for clear and achievable timelines so that climate policies can be implemented in timely manner. It is highly unlikely that there will be any clear policy framework to support all the countries.
