Is Business about Profits only?

The recent surveys are pointing to the fact, the companies are just worried about the profits and the profits are looking better now than previous months. The latest data echoes the sentiments that companies want to improve the sales and campaign volumes. Very few companies are planning to hire new workers. Is it going to be like one man doing it for 10? The local jobs are not going to improve, and despite the good sales numbers, the companies are not going hire workers in large numbers. It affects towns and its population. Many towns get re-shaped with migration of the people to the places where there are more jobs. There is nothing in the laws which can force these companies to hire the people and create more jobs for local people in the town. Roughly 7 million people lost their jobs during the recession since 2007. The stimulus packages are gone now and the companies are returning back to face the hard facts to survive without support.
